Charles Stewart Todd

Charles Stewart Todd was born in Owensburg, Kentucky on December 16, 1886. He studied at the Cincinnati Art Academy, as well as in New York and Europe. He decorated pieces at Rookwood Pottery for 12 years, between 1910 and 1922. He is known for his organic and abstract designs that embody the arts and crafts movement of the time. He died in Owensburg, Kentucky October 27, 1950. Collector interest in his pieces is considered to be above average.
