Muncie Pottery 1920's Peachskin Bowl #168-5

$95.00
Muncie Pottery started production of art pottery in 1919 as the Muncie Clay Products Company. Muncie Pottery started as a subsidiary of the German-American Clay Company. Muncie Pottery like so many of the other American art pottery companies closed its doors as a victim of the depression in 1939.

One of the more desirable glaze is the known as Peachskin. Here we have a 5 inch wide Peachskin bowl. The blue glaze drips beautifully over the walls of the bowl with a nice gold/yellow underneath. Very nice decorative bowl. Beautiful shape that will please any collector.

Exceptional bowl in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. Little to no crazing. Any imperfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. I cannot detect and repairs or restoration on this piece. The white spots are studio light reflections.

Dimensions are below. All images are original and unedited.
