Muncie Pottery 1920s Peachskin Console Set Bowl #167 and Candle Holders #149

$225.00
Muncie Pottery started production of art pottery in 1919 as the Muncie Clay Products Company. Muncie Pottery like so many of the other American art pottery companies closed its doors as a victim of the depression in 1939.

Here we have an excellent example of a Muncie Console bowl #167 and candle holders #149 set. The Peachskin glaze is very attractive on this set. The bowl is 10 1/4 inches wide and is in wonderful condition. The bowl reminds of a sunset! The glaze was extremely well done. A set that would excite any collector of American art pottery. Add this to your collection before someone else does!!

Wonderful set in that it has no cracks, no scratches to glaze, no repairs. Little to no crazing. A very small chip to rim of bowl - see last picture. Any imperfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. The white spots are studio light reflections.

Authentic and appropriately signed Muncie. All images are original and unedited.
