Muncie Pottery 1929 Black Peachskin Corset Vase #119-6

$99.00
Muncie Pottery started production of art pottery in 1919 as the Muncie Clay Products Company. Muncie Pottery started as a subsidiary of the German-American Clay Company. Muncie Pottery like so many of the other American art pottery companies closed its doors as a victim of the depression in 1939.

This is a beautiful Blue peachskin glaze Muncie Corset vase that stands 6 1/4 inches tall. The peachskin glaze is a highly collectible glaze and easily recognizable. This is truly an outstanding example as I almost want to keep this for myself! This high gloss glaze is a perfect blending of blue, rust, brown, orange and yellow. Wonderful arts and crafts example.

Outstanding vase in that it has no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze. Very minimal crazing. Any imperfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. No evidence of repair or modification was detected. The white spots are studio light reflections.

Authentic Muncie Pottery. All images are original and unedited.
