The Woodcraft line was produced from 1920 through 1933 which features woodland creatures and tree-like forms in shades of brown and green with accents of reds, blues, ivory or yellow. There is a vast number of designs to choose from and has remained a collector's favorite. This line is not difficult to identify although it bears no markings.
This piece is a highly recognizable fox hanging basket. Highly collectible in any condition. Difficult to find in any condition and unfortunately this one was repaired. See below. A perfect addition to any collection. Displays well from all sides.
Wonderful hanging basket in that it has no chips, no cracks, no scratches, no cracks. FREE from crazing. There was a professional repair to the outside which cannot be detected but the inside shows the place by the fingerprints that were left behind by the repairer. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process including glaze misses and glaze pops.
Unmarked but guaranteed to be original, vintage Weller pottery.
